MALTA, DEAD POINT
Steve is a Nigerian boy who had been 4 years in Malta. thousands of people like him, was to stop at this small island country by accident, looking for the dream of reaching Italy. Malta is the smallest country of the European community, has 400,000 residents and 100,000 immigrants from detention centers scattered (where spending at least 14 months, the longest detention time of all countries in the euro area), refugee camps and crowded ghettos with hundreds of people. Under the guidance of Steve we visited these places and also a religious center of immigrant aid, which is the last trick to get out of this country. Currently, Steve, with the assistance of an NGO, has returned to his home country, Nigeria, totally frustrated and resigned to being unable to leave the island after many failed attempts ... his dream will have to wait.
